Choose your lip colour by finish

  • Sheer colour with shine: Romand Bare Water Tint has a lightweight, watery texture and a fresh water-shine finish. Start with a thin layer for a softer look or build the colour gradually.
  • Soft, blurred matte: Mooekiss Lip Mud has a mousse-like texture for a diffused lip edge and a soft-focus matte finish.
  • Defined matte colour: FLORTTE Wackky Girl's World Solid Lip Mud comes in a press-pen format for controlled application. Blend the edges for a softer finish or follow the lip line for more definition.

Lip tint, lip stain or lip mud?

Lip tint usually describes lightweight, buildable colour, while lip stain describes the colour left behind as the surface layer wears away. The names can overlap: a glossy tint may also leave a stain. Lip mud is a creamier, mousse-like option chosen for its blurred matte appearance. Check each product's finish rather than relying on the name alone.

How to create a gradient lip

Apply a small amount of colour to the centre of your lips, then blend towards the edges with a fingertip or lip brush. Add another thin layer in the centre if you want more depth. For a fuller lip look, extend the colour towards the lip line instead.

Choosing a shade and checking availability

Compare the shade names and product images on each product page. A peach or rose shade gives a different effect from a deeper red or plum, and your natural lip colour can affect the result. Select a shade to check its current availability; stock varies by shade.
